Friday Favorites

This past week has been one to remember.  On Tuesday, I was elected to the position of ASB Secretary.  My friends and I put a lot of effort into our campaign and were so excited with the results.  So many people came out to support us and I am forever grateful for each of you.  We had so much fun meeting new people and getting involved on campus.  The past two weeks have been crazy, but an absolute blast.  I look forward to serving the University of Mississippi as the next ASB Secretary starting April 1st!

Here are a few pictures from the past two weeks:

SHOUTOUT to Ali Corbin for designing each of these!

The ASB Debate with Fran, Anna, and Christian (manual laborer).

For the past two weeks, a group of us walked to each sorority and fraternity house on campus to inform them of my platform and goals if elected.

 Election Day!

 Emerson George, Vice President-elect

Davis Rogers, our new ASB President-elect

My sweet family came to hear the results.

So happy my grandparents could be here!

A few of my favorite Tri Delt's supporting me on election day. I love each of you so much!

On top of the campaign, I had to opportunity to write my second article for the Daily Mississippian reguarding the Voting Rights Act of 1965 and Voter ID in Mississippi.

The past few days have been so amazing.  I am forever grateful for my friends and family for their loving support!

Happy Friday!
 XOXO,

Heather

Friday Favorites: It's a Start

Today, I was published. It was only in my college newspaper, the Daily Mississippian, but it's a start.   It may not be about fashion, but I couldn't help feel a little like Carrie Bradshaw with my first by-line.
To read my first article in the Daily Mississippian

 Hope you like it!

XOXO,

Heather
