Fifth Semester

Five semesters down and only three to go. It really is terrifying how fast not only this past semester has flown by, but the past two and a half years. From Nashville to Baton Rouge to the beach and more, this semester has been the best yet.  We beat Bama. We beat State. We got to see 1D in Nola. I had the amazing opportunity to be a New Member Educator and get to know all of our baby dolphins as well as all of my new friends through Ambassadors. Being the Senate Clerk has actually been pretty awesome, too. I can't wait to see what the next three semesters have in store.

First semester of Junior Year:

 20th Birthday!

Roomz

 Nashville for the Vandy game.

 Rebel Run

Date Party!

Bid Day 2014!

Bama weekend! 23-17 just in case you forgot.

 Nola for the 1D concert!

LSU.

New Member Retreat. Being a New Member Educator this semester was one of the most rewarding opportunities ever.
 Fall Formal 007

Kappa Sig Formal!

Thanksgiving in Rosemary

Ambassadors. #Blessed to have gotten involved with this group this semester.

Christmas in Oxford.

Best semester yet. Cheers to it and the three we have left.

XOXO

Waking Up in Vegas

Every time I think of Las Vegas I automatically think of "Waking Up in Vegas" or "Firework" by Katy Perry. Our vacation was much more on the "Firework" end of things.  This fourth of July, my family and I traveled to Las Vegas, Nevada for a vacation like no other. Honestly, I was nervous before we left because I had no idea what were we going to do there for an entire week. I'm the oldest of four, so clearly we didn't plan on late nights at the slots.

From the moment we landed, I knew this was going to be a vacation unlike any we had ever had before. Hands down one of my favorite trips we have ever taken.

Las Vegas is in the middle of nowhere. Seriously.

I mean if you don't take a picture in front of the Vegas sign, did you really even go?

Philip's one request on the trip was to go to see the "Pawn Stars" shop.

So there is a building towards the end of the strip called the Stratosphere. It's the tallest building west of the Mississippi river. Our driver told us we had to ride the rides at the top while we were in town, so it was the first thing that we did!

Check out the rides here!

Cake Boss

Is he not the cutest?

Criss Angel's magic show was one of the highlights of our trip! A must see.

NY, NY. Such a fun roller coaster.
Didn't know what heat was until this trip.

Our Dad surprised us towards the end of the week with a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon and a rafting day down the CO River.  Coolest thing ever.
Hoover Dam.

Fam jam.

Fireworks on July 4th!

Can't wait to come back soon!

XOXO

Sailing the Ocean Blue

Spring Break flashed by in the blink of an eye.  We all have longed for the week to travel near and far to visit family and friends and have a week to relax.

This Spring Break, my family and I went on a cruise to the Grand Caymans, Jamaica, and Haiti.  Cruises are a family tradition for us. We have sailed for the past few years, but this week was our favorite voyage yet.

On Saturday, we flew to Ft. Lauderdale with two other families to board the ship. We sailed until the following Saturday.

Here are a few pictures from our Spring Break Trip!

It's not a real family vacay until you have matching neon "Spring Break 2014" tanks, right?
(We really bought these and wore them in Jamaica)

 The Family in Grand Caymans

 My sister Rosemary and I.

 My sister Marjorie Ann.

Will, Rosemary, Ellie, and I on the chairlift in Jamaica.

This was possibly the coolest part of the trip. We got to go on the Jamaican Bobsledding course.  They ride here to practice their turns and when to lean against gravity.  Seriously, the coolest thing ever.

Ocho Rios, Jamaica.

My brother and I in Labadee, Haiti.

The Family in Haiti. One of our favorite ports of call.

Take me back to paradise, please.

It was great to have a week to share with family and friends.

Until next year.

XOXO,

Heather
